Summary

Software engineer with 14 years of experience, most of it in frontend, now at Rumble, a video platform with 57M monthly active users (Q2 2026).

Proposed Rumble’s web component platform in design documents and won support for it from engineering leadership and the business. It moves page rendering off server-side PHP piece by piece, from a single input to a full page, which gives the product room for richer interfaces and analytics. Every page of the public site now uses it, in part or in full. Designed its loader and built its core in TypeScript and Lit. Other engineers develop and extend it independently.

Designed and built the Rumble Shorts web interface on that platform. Designed auth.rumble.com, Rumble’s sign-in and sign-up portal, and wrote most of it. The portal is in scope of Rumble’s public bug bounty program.

Experience

Senior Software Engineer

Rumble, to present, Remote

Video platform, 57M monthly active users (Q2 2026). TypeScript, Lit, SolidJS, Tailwind, PHP.

  • Proposed the web component platform, built its core in TypeScript and Lit, and drove its adoption across the public site. It made the site easier to maintain and deploy, and development faster.
  • Designed and wrote the loader that delivers the platform to every page, with a pinned fallback release when loading fails.
  • Designed and built the Shorts web interface and player on the platform, which made Shorts fast to build. It launched on the web in February 2026. Shorts as a whole set a record of about 2M unique video views in a day in May 2026, per Rumble’s results release for Q1 2026.
  • Introduced the platform’s analytics and error tracking. Its analytics format is becoming the standard across Rumble’s products.
  • Built Playwright end-to-end suites and a CLI that QA engineers use across projects. Other engineers have developed them since.
  • Designed the sign-in and sign-up portal auth.rumble.com as a shared service: other Rumble products hand users to it and get them back signed in. rumble.com, Locals, Rumble Wallet, and the mobile apps sign in through it.
  • Inserted the portal into Rumble’s SSO flow, so its SSO clients such as Rumble Studio and Rumble Cloud (now Quake AI) needed no changes.
  • Designed a configuration model for GDPR user consent across the frontend and PHP services. Wrote most of the sign-up flow and a large part of its PHP backend. Sign-up now runs only through auth.rumble.com.
  • Set up how the platform ships: release versioning that fits Rumble’s existing PHP release process, plus development and release docs.
  • Build AI-agent tooling for day-to-day frontend development.

Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Lyte, to , Remote

Ticketing marketplace, $750M+ in reservations, since closed. React, Redux, MobX, TypeScript, NX.

  • Designed the customizer an internal Lyte team used to configure every client’s ticketing portal, and worked out the cross-team agreements it needed. It saved the operations team hours of manual work every week.
  • Shaped the architecture and code of the client-facing control center for music festival organizers and promoters, which Lyte’s CTO singled out in his reference letter.
  • Built a React UI kit in an NX monorepo with CI and strict versioning, used by several frontend teams.
  • Designed the API layer generated from the backend OpenAPI schema. Introduced contract tests in GitLab pipelines, which reduced integration regressions.
  • Proposed frontend architecture changes in Lyte’s architecture meetings and implemented them once agreed. Trained new frontend engineers and onboarded them with project docs and examples.
  • Introduced client-side feature flags to speed up testing and releases. The flags also cut merge conflicts.

Senior Frontend Engineer

Rebilly, to , Remote

Payments platform.

  • Owned FramePay, Rebilly’s PCI DSS-compliant payment iframe, after its first release. Designed its merchant customization model. The host page validates each configuration before the isolated iframe applies it.
  • Introduced unit and end-to-end tests for critical payment flows, where 5 minutes of downtime escalated to top management.

Senior Frontend JavaScript Engineer

Filiatix, to

Duties included task estimates, architecture, code review, and frontend quality standards.

  • Built a CRM and a rating system on React and Redux, plus a landing page builder and banner widgets.
  • Designed and built a Python and Celery service that schedules data delivery to external offices and integrations by time zone.

Earlier roles in frontend and web development, to

PHP sites and e-shops, jQuery and Backbone frontends, a first React app in 2015, HTML email, and page load optimization.

Side projects

seedfaker

Deterministic test data in 68 locales. Rust CLI with bindings for six runtimes and an MCP server. Built primarily through AI agents.

lumomimo

Browser games for toddlers, playable without reading. AI agents handle implementation and deployment.
